Natasha Jumelet co-founded Deaf Wellbeing Society 7 years ago with the sole purpose of empowering deaf people and reducing isolation. 

Matt Brown is working hard to end the cycle of domestic and family violence.

A Girl Called Hope

Kai Avondale

Generous Anne is the face and heart of Kai Avondale, a collective of free food initiatives available to all in the community. 

Armed with a hearty laugh and a steadfast belief in people's potential, Makerita is the ideal person to help young women through times of crisis.

For rescue helicopter pilot Paul, night shifts, extended time away from family and cancelled leave are the norm as he selflessly puts others first to save lives.

Brenda has been a volunteer President at Papakura Music School for several years, where she is a role model for the community with her generous dedication to the children.

Peter left the security of his full-time position at the Department of Justice to work in community and youth development with Global Hope Ministries.

Mitch has developed a revolutionary social enterprise that generates funding for children and youth charities.
